This restaurant has been around since 1946. Famous for their steak and prime rib. They also serve seafood, chicken, and hamburgers. This is one of my favorite places to go for a special occasion. Your meal begins with a relish dish (olives, carrots, celery, pickles and dip) and warm bread. I ordered the prime rib with rice pilaf and you get your choice of soup or salad. Their salad with thousand island is very good. I always order a raspberry lemonade which is usually sweet and tasty, although once it was very sour. Unfortunately, the service here can be slow especially when getting refills. One of the things I love about this place is that your meal comes with a scoop of ice cream, some of the flavors include: peppermint, maple nut, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. It is best to come here on a weekday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday get very busy and the wait can be close to an hour plus parking gets hard to come by. If you do come on one of those days I would suggest coming around the time the restaurant opens or within an hour of opening. The crowd here tends to be older, but if you're looking for good fine dining this is the place to go.
