There are multiple locations in and around Portland
This is the restaurant I go to when I don't feel like cooking. The food is decent, the price isn't too bad, and the service is usually good. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast there is an array of omelettes, pancakes, crepes and blitzes, french toast, eggs and skillets. I love their strawberry crepes! For lunch there are sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, and soups. Some of my favorites are their taco salads, club sandwiches and they have the best chicken noodle soup. For dinner there is chicken, turkey, steaks, pot roast and seafood. Don't forget dessert, Village Inn has a large selection of pies, sundaes, and cakes. The banana cream pie is so yummy! Since this is a decent sized restaurant there is always a place to sit and plenty of parking. The weekends of course are busier, but I've never had to wait for a table. There are kids menus available too. I've been coming here for years. It is a good place to go when you're too lazy to cook, or it's too hot to cook, or you just don't have time!
